Implementasi Model Pembelajaran Case-Based Method (CBM) pada Mata Kuliah Etika Profesi dalam Membentuk Integritas Mahasiswa di Era Society 5.0

Abstract

Di era Society 5.0, terjadi paradoks moral di mana kemajuan teknologi AI melesat secara eksponensial sementara evolusi etika manusia cenderung stagnan. Kesenjangan ini memicu krisis integritas di berbagai profesi. Mata kuliah Etika Profesi yang selama ini terjebak dalam pendekatan normatif-konvensional dianggap sudah usang untuk membekali mahasiswa menghadapi realitas digital yang ambigu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas implementasi model pembelajaran Case-Based Method (CBM) dalam mentransformasi mentalitas dan membentuk integritas mahasiswa sebagai bekal menghadapi ketidakpastian etis di era Society 5.0.  Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif untuk membedah transformasi kesadaran etis secara mendalam. Riset dilaksanakan pada semester genap tahun akademik 2025/2026 dengan subjek mahasiswa yang menempuh mata kuliah Etika Profesi. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, jurnal refleksi, dan triangulasi data. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa intervensi CBM efektif memicu cognitive dissonance yang mendorong mahasiswa bergeser dari pemahaman integritas yang sekadar legalistik-prosedural menuju internalisasi nilai yang bersifat intrinsik. Mahasiswa yang terlibat dalam CBM menunjukkan ketajaman analisis etis 40% lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas konvensional. Selain itu, CBM berhasil membongkar fenomena groupthink dan menguatkan keberanian moral (moral courage) mahasiswa dalam mempertahankan kebenaran di bawah tekanan. Implementasi CBM merupakan urgensi pedagogis untuk memastikan lulusan perguruan tinggi tidak menjadi robot cerdas yang unggul secara teknis namun buta secara etis. Integritas yang lahir dari kesadaran otonom melalui bedah kasus terbukti lebih tangguh sebagai kompas moral di tengah disrupsi teknologi
